Coming soon.

Click to start the live feed from the NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer,
currently exploring the Marianas Trench Marine National Monument and the
Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

On December 7, 2016, 75 years after the attack on Pearl Harbor, join us for a live dive on two Japanese mini submarines, the first of which was sunk by the USS Ward prior to the attack. This will be the first time the public will be able to view live underwater exploration of the submarines in real time.

Mission telepresence participants are located at the Inner Space Center at the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography.

Camera 1 generally shows data feeds from mapping systems operated overnight, and ROV cameras for dives during the day (bottom time beginning around 4 to 5PM EST).

Camera 2 generally shows the ship’s command center or other video feeds during ROV dives.
